Little Roots and Wings was created from a passion for supporting children in a way that feels natural, nurturing, and meaningful.
Through years of working with children and families especially those with diverse developmental needs—it became clear that many families were looking for more than just childcare. They wanted someone who could provide a calm, supportive environment while also helping their child grow emotionally and socially.
Little Roots and Wings was built to meet that need.
Our approach combines in-home childcare with social emotional learning and nature-informed play, allowing children to build confidence, emotional awareness, and life skills through everyday experiences.
We believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and connected and that growth happens best through play, consistency, and care.

Little Roots and Wings provides in-home childcare designed to support children’s emotional growth, confidence, and development through play, connection, and structured care. Our approach is rooted in social emotional learning and nature-informed play, creating a calm, nurturing environment where children can build important life skills in a way that feels natural and engaging. Led by a Master of Social Work (MSW) professional with a strong background in child development and behavioral support, services are thoughtfully tailored to meet each child’s unique needs—including experience supporting neuro-diverse children. At Little Roots and Wings, we believe children grow best when they feel safe, supported, and understood. Non-clinical childcare services. Not a substitute for therapy.
